Due to Covid 19 we will not be having a school wide Terry Fox event this year.
In its place we have added a series of Terry Fox videos to the morning announcements. for the week of September 28th to October 2nd.
2020 marks the 40th anniversary of the Marathon of Hope.
The Tuesday video is a What's Your 40 Challenge which classroom teachers may choose to participate in. We wanted to give teachers a heads up before the Tuesday announcement.
It’s the 40th Anniversary of Terry’s Marathon of Hope and we are excited to launch “What’s Your 40?” classroom/individual based Terry activities, to help you celebrate safely and have fun. Choose any fun activity from the suggestions below or create your own from our full list of suggestions here. You can even get a friendly classroom competition going by printing out a “What’s Your 40?” poster to show everyone walking by your activity. Don’t forget to share your activity pictures and fundraising link to show off your school spirit and inspire others! #whatsyour40? #tryliketerry
